Lichens (Series)
DESCRIPTION
Lichens are not plants in their own right, but fungi and algae that form a symbiotic community in which they support each other in life.
If they are then allowed to settle on concrete walls, and no air pollution or high-pressure cleaners kill them off, they grow into such wonderful works of art over many years.
AUTHOR
My craft roots lie in analogue documentary photography training and several years as a camera assistant. Meanwhile I am fascinated by transforming material realities into abstract images. Through the movement of the camera I dissolve the contours of my subjects and create photographs that tell of hidden worlds.
