My work often circles around the theme of transience, offering a quiet ode to what is fading. In this series, I turn my attention to plants and their shadows — fragile presences reduced to their purest form.

I want to keep them visible before they disappear. By photographing them, I try to hold onto a fleeting moment of stillness, when light and form briefly align. What draws me is not only their beauty, but the inevitability of their passing — a reminder that seeing is, in itself, an act of preservation.

I am a Dutch photographer specializing in fine art, portrait and event photography, working both on location and from my studio. As a self-taught photographer, I’ve developed my craft through experience, collaboration, and continued learning. Over the years, I’ve refined my practice through workshops and masterclasses with artists such as Duco de Vries, Tessa Posthuma de Boer, Jenny Boot, and Astrid Verhoef.

My work has been shown in both solo and group exhibitions, including De Observant (2025), Kunstpalet033 (2025), Fotoboeken Festival and PAF – Photographers Art Fair (2024), and several exhibitions at the Rietveldpaviljoen in Amersfoort such as Zeg ruimte, IMPACT, and Voor anarchie en traditie! Earlier shows include In Vrijheid (2019) and the solo exhibition Wereldse ontmoetingen at CODA Museum, Apeldoorn (2019).

Between 2019 and 2024, I received multiple silver and bronze awards from the Royal Dutch Photographic Federation, including the Trophy Travel Photography and Silver at Foto Individueel 2019.
