Architecture nominee

Long time ago I was a novitiate of Monastery. I´ve studiing theology and leave this live way, because it is not my way.
But I am always faszinated by architecture and art of medieval time.
So my serie is an reflection of architecture and the life and loss of monks and sister and their searching for a personal relationship with god. I am producing a book with images and text´s from contemplative masters and the holy bible.

Restart Photographing in 2009 with the first digital System Canon EOS 450D
Now photographing with Canon 5D Mark II and Sony Alpha 7R

Deeply influenced by Ralph Gibson, David duChemin, Michael Kenna, Robert Häusser, Klavdy Sluban, Josef Koudelka, Henri Cartier-Bresson and Bruce Barnbaum which I studied intensivly.
At the Moment working on an Long Time Project of the religious impact of Monastery´s and the meaning of light for the City of Koblenz, Germany.
