In Rome, the Street Art is experiencing in recent months a "golden age".
The municipalities, in collaboration with many international artists and residents of some neighborhoods of the city, they decided to redevelop some peripheral areas of the city, painting the facades of many buildings.
My photographs were taken in the district of Tor Marancia, on the outskirts of the capital. The façades of a dozen buildings were painted with subjects different from each other, transforming the area into an open air museum.
The murals are eighteen, including these five. A mural certainly does not solve the problems of those who live on the outskirts of a big city, such as finding a job, the safety of the residents, etc., but it can serve as a stimulus to improve the local environment.

AUTHOR
Hello everyone.
First excuse my English.
I was born in 1982 and I have always loved photography.
I decided to devote myself entirely to photography at the university, and so I decided to go to a photography school in Rome
My favorite subjects are architecture, street photography, landscapes and portraits.
The color should be the protagonist of my photographs, otherwise I prefer the black and white.
One of my passions is the study dellla history of photography and would love to take care of historical photographic collections, making it available to photographers and amateurs.
I love walking the streets of a city with my camera and take pictures of everyday life, with buildings as a wonderful film set for myself. But a desolate street can still give me the same emotions of a square full of people.
