The "Pareidolia" project was born from my dream instinct, evasive and creative.
This reference to my childhood when I scanned the grounds of the tapestry of my room or that of grandparents living room and could see all sorts of things more or less odd.
Often it was a means of escape, my way of me "disconnect" from my mind and get lost.
Besides the tapestry, my favorite, was to observe the dust grains fluttering in a ray of light produced by the combination of the sun and shutters between-open a summer afternoon. A perfect combination to make me daydream.
In this project, I have tried to recreate those childhood dreams and find this internal universe that leads to dreams and contemplation through the water vapor movement.
Pareidolias is the term used to describe a kind of optical illusion, where the human brain naturally combines an imprecise and vague stimulus (cloud, rock, prints, rust stains, etc ...) to something clear and concrete, often giving these forms a human face or an animal appearance.
What can be informed for certain, may be something specific for others.
And you? What will you see?
