This photograph was part of a project I did last year for my fashion unit at the college. I had the oportunity to photograph in a private house in Alicante (Spain) and I was very inspired by the fountain that was there.
I wanted the photo to look like a painting as the fountain by itself is a masterpiece. I knew what especific time of the day the light was coming through the trees and make that highligh and shadows on the fountain's wall, that would be the moment to photograph.
I also wanted a dress with that shape as it could fall behind the little wall so I searched on the internet and I bought it. I wanted a spring/summer and romantic outfit for the model so my sister helped to do the brides in the model's hair.
Composition wise I thought the figure of the model washing her feet and the curve of her back plus the tail of the dress falling behind would be very harmoninc with a romantic/victorian look.
