Fine Art 3rd place winner

I approached this series thinking of how I could photograph my subject in a simple yet elegant way. Black & White colors were the first to come to mind. Then there was the lighting. I did not want the light to be too dramatic, but I did want it to highlight her in a way to make her skin feel radiant. The post-production work made the subject look like a statue of glass. This is what helped me finally come up with an appropriate title. Obsidian, black volcanic glass.
