Fine Art nominee

I wanted to say something about the culture I have grown up in with my self-portrait. Today, plastic surgery is glorified and talked about in a very casual way since it has become such a trend recently. I wanted to show how serious, dark, and painful plastic surgery actually is. I also wanted my photo to show how people start to define beauty as something really fake and only see themselves as beautiful after they have plastic surgery, which isn't really them (showed this through the lipstick).
