It was a misty morning and visibility was poor, perfect conditions for what I wanted to achieve. A long exposure photograph of the lighthouse, loosing the horizon making it look like its just standing in the middle of nothing.
Dovercourt the small English coastal town in Essex has 2 of the oldest lighthouses in Britain. In 1863 the two cast iron lighthouses were erected off the coast of Dovercourt to guide ships round Landguard Point. Both still standing strong but no longer in use.
