Around/between the cities of Eindhoven and Tilburg there are several little nature areas with beautiful fens in it. I live in Best, just between these two cities and these areas are favorate photo locations for me. I love foggy mornings, because that gives a mystical atmosphere to these areas and thereby good opportunities for fine art photograpy which is one of my favorite things.

Bas van Laarhoven, born in 1973, living in Best, the Netherlands.
Bas van Laarhoven is a photographer, specialising in nature. Already in his childhood there was an above average interest in nature and landscapes (in particular mountains). Since then he visit one or several times a year a mountain region. During these trips photography has become an increasingly important part. Other areas came "in the picture" such as rugged coastal areas, but also the immediate vicinity of his hometown is now an important photo-area for him. To develop his photography skills he successfully completed a photography study. His drive to photograph arose from his desire to capture the natural beauty around us. His style can be characterized as a search for a sense of atmosphere, detail and composition.
