Mojave Wind Turbines (Single)
DESCRIPTION
I took this photo right outside the small town of Mojave in California., which is known for its wind turbine fields. In person, the turbines are so big that you can hear the rush of air pushed by the massive fans. The photo consists of one exposure, as is seen by the blurred motion of the wind turbines, as well as the star trails. In the sky, the stars on the left leave more of a star trail while the ones toward the right are more pinpoint. This is because Polaris, the star that all other stars rotate about, is centered toward the right of the image. I believe that this distinctive layout in the sky, combined with the motion of the turbine fans, gives the image a unique look that would be hard to replicate.
