Vellum (Series)
DESCRIPTION
Ms. Marcotte is exploring the transformative process of using the photographic medium beyond the traditional realistic still life process, to illustrate an etheral expression of space and light. The focus has been the transformational relation of light on paper and how a two demensional medium can appear three dimentional with light. Along with the spacial relationships to increase dimension. Her latest series is a subtle but measurable experiment in the delicate, yet powerful, expression of the photographic medium as escapism with imagery relating to the light compositions.
