"She" is a portrait of a BDSM submissive. She could literally be any woman, so she is faceless. Her identity instead is placed on her sexual persona. Her choice of sexual practices earns her the distinction of being judged dirty. Therefore, she is finished with dirt smatterings and surrounded by a vignette of black and, of course, grey.

Ms. Young is an emerging contemporary portraiture photographer that currently resides in Northern Indiana.

Darci’s artistic philosophy is to observe the social paradoxes that subsist in her natural world. She utilizes contemporary portraiture to create images that express the fallacies of identity.

Darci has been juried into numerous group exhibitions throughout the United States and has an image in the permanent collection at the Fort Wayne Museum of Art located in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
