Fine Art nominee

The serie "Ensayo de un devenir" is a poetical view about identity of the north territory of Argentina, through I image this location introducing foreign elements to the landscape. It´s like an infiltration with my camera and with light skinned bodies, in a region that was historically occupied by indigenous.

I was born in Resistencia, Argentina, in 1981. I completed my photography studies at the Institut d´Estudis Fotografics de Catalunya in Barcelona, Spain (2007-2010). In 2010, my proyect "Des-cosificacion" was selected for the "Ciclo de Proyecciones Epson", organized by the Foundation "Fotocolectania" in Barcelona, Spain. In 2011, I received the 3º prize in the competition "Capture, Fotografía de Arquitectura Contemporánea" in Madrid, Spain. In 2011, I attended the workshop "Narration visualle: se confronter et se découvrir", dictated by Laurence Leblanc, in the framework of the Festival de la Photographie Méditerranéennee in Marseilles, France. In 2012, I was selected to participate in the "Programa AlRío para artista audiovisuales", coordinated by Santiago Porter and Florencia Levy. In 2012 I was also selected for the "AAMC de Fotografía Contemporánea Argentina" prize in Cordoba, Argentina. In 2013
I was awared the honor mention in the CCU prize for visual artists, in Corrientes, Argentina. In 2013 and 2014 I was selected for the scholarships, organized by the "Fondo Nacional de las Artes", Argentina. I participe of individual and collective exhibitions since 2009 in Argentina, Spain and USA. I´m represented by the gallery "The White Lodge", from Córdoba, Argentina.
