Great Sand Dunes National Park (Series)
DESCRIPTION
I arrived at Great Sand Dunes NP at 5:30 am with a -10 degree temperature. As the morning light started to peek over the eastern mountain range, the snow covered dunes began to come to life. Low hanging clouds partially hid the mountains several hours. The contrast between the light and shadows and the soft flowing shapes of the dunes created some amazing shapes.
