A large number of Burmese migrant workers live in Bangkok,Thailand, and most of them work for the minimum wage that the Thailand government established.
Migrant workers are coming not only from Burma, but also from Burmese refugee camps in Thailand, and they rely on acquaintances and brokers to get a visa and job.
Migrant workers engage in various jobs such as construction workers, maids, baby-sitters, and restaurant workers.
There is a district that Burmese migrant workers are living in the heart of Bangkok, and they have communal living in a cheap simple dormitory or apartment.
I visited a Burmese migrant workers community and photographed their rooms.
