Portrait nominee

Little baby "L" was a Hidden pregnancy, known as a cryptic pregnancy. He hid himself from mommy until two weeks before his birth. Mom thought she may be pregnant but because she was still nursing her 11 month old son, she was not sure. After a pregnancy test revealed a positive result, she assume she was a few weeks and made the normal first trimester doctor visit. Expecting to hear she was no more than a few weeks at the most she was told to be prepared that little "L" would be here in a few weeks! He was born into the world a healthy baby boy!

My name is Jenni, I am 43 years old and a mom of 5 children and 5 grandkids. I started my photographic journey just a few short years ago but fell in love! I have a studio in findlay Ohio and my main are of focus is newborn and children portraiture. I also really enjoy conceptual work and modern glamour/fine art. I also enjoy weddings and I like to mix journalistic and fine art to tell the story. I have been locally published but I have yet to reach the level of awards. I would like to put my work out there to be judged, hopefully well received and that I may add "award winning" to my title! I love the idea of constant growth and pushing oneself to always take the next step forward. My goal is to continue to shoot and learn while I can and in a few years when my physical limitations do not allow me to actively shoot anymore, I can then mentor and teach.
