My passion as an artist is to seek for the hidden truth of life. I felt how visual factors in my dreams imply the reinterpretation of my feelings about actual experiences in the past. Furthermore, I believe that scenes which appear in my dreams indicate a creative way of weaving my past memories and sometimes give a hint of what is to come in the future.
While wandering in the street, I am trying to capture the moments that make me feel I encounter this unconscious world which I have seen in my dream.
The street scenes that draw my attention in a moment, seem to contain mysterious visual signs. All elements in the street compose the internal unconscious scenes beyond time and space; including strange behaviours of some people, others who seem to get lost in deep thought or the illusion of light and shadow, which turn the setting into a surreal stage.
Those street scenes deeply resonate in my mind, liberating me from noisy daily surroundings. I can be immersed into them like a meditation.
My black and white images imply the street photography that reflects the unconscious world which my accumulated memories have created.
