DESCRIPTION
I am inspired by the rich visual environment of India. My photographs hone in on the details where I seem to find the essential essence of a place.
Certain images, when multiplied, can create an entirely new reality without sacrificing the integrity of the original image. Using photoshop, I explore various juxtapositions until a coherent composite image emerges.
AUTHOR
1978 graduate of Parsons School of Design in Environmental design. After a career as a space planner I began to pursue my passion for photography combined with learning the rudiments of Photoshop. In 2012, an early photo collage was exhibited in the Verge Brooklyn Art Fair "Stars of Tomorrow". This month, my image "Green and Orange Ghat" won 1st Runner Up in an Exhibitions without Walls competition themed "Structures."
Definitely in the just getting my feet wet category.
