'Celestial Reverie' is an ongoing series in which I try to capture my hometown's stormy weather, raging above its skylines.
The random patterns of these brilliant lightning bolts represent the unpredictability of the natural world, and contrast against the orderly and repetitive constructs of mankind's built environment. They are also portent reminders that no matter how high our modern skyscrapers reach, or how vast our cities sprawl, we will always live under nature's awesome power.
