DESCRIPTION
The more complex the world I create, the more simplicity I crave.
This series of work started with my respect for life.
Existence comes from nothing and grows in silence, then becomes beautiful and formidable. That is Life.
However, no matter how gorgeous it once was, in the end, everything goes back to where it began. It’s a circle.
I can hear the sound when it’s blooming.
I can feel the power when it’s struggling.
I can’t control my fascination because I am also alive.

AUTHOR
Zhuoqun Jiang recognizes herself as artist more than a photographer. The camera to her is no different than a brush to a painter. However, Photography plays an important role in her practice. It is a tool that represents Zhuoqun’s aesthetics. Usually she design and create her own characters in her photo shoot, including props, accessories, makeup and costumes.
Zhuoqun has experience in many field of art; her work is sculptural, fashion based, fiber art and photo illustrations. They can be exhibited both as photographs and individual pieces. Her current studies are exploring the artistic expression through craft, sculpture and photography.
