Blizzard of Fehmarn

In 1908 the painter Kirchner traveled with his then girlfriend, the photographer Emmi Frisch, Fehmarn. In the years 1912-1914 of the founders of the well-known artist group "Bridge" on the island was, where a large number of his works was born. The "Kirchner Club" has made it his mission to follow Kirchner's footsteps: the motifs of the painter on Fehmarn are largely unchanged. It is interesting to understand how Kirchner translates directly experiences and gives the Viewer.
A map shows bike and hiking trails to Kirchner's Fehmarn motifs such as the lighthouse of Staberhuk or the "Villa Port Arthur".
