Landscape nominee

The Namib desert is so different and offers so many different landscapes for a photographer. Rainy conditions are offering lightning conditions which are really special and very intensive. Therefore i travel only in the rainy season into the Namib desert. The vastness offers spectacular views if it rains and very special sightings you can only have in this desert. The misty conditions in the Namib desert due to the mist from the Benguela stream along the coastline is something that is unique too. These five photos are all taken in this desert, showing the many different sides of this unique landscape.

"Seeing the magic" stands for the philosophy which the landscape photographer Martin Krajczy uses as a guideline for his FINE ART work. His FINE ART photographies are characterized by a well-directed deduction of colors and structures.The specific use of long exposure times and depth of field shows magical moments of the nature in a way which is sometimes not visible for the human eyes.The FINE ART photographies are a result of intensive photo trips in Europe and Africa. His favorite subjects and techniques are panorama photography, the Namib desert, Iceland and the misty woods of Europe.
