Landscape nominee

"Ring Road" is a series of photos taken in Iceland. Our trip was five days and in five photos I will be telling the story of our adventure.

Robby Allen is a self-taught fine art landscape photographer based in Hawaii and invites you into his unique world of photography. Robby’s eye for light and composition allows him to capture images that have a simple beauty to them. Regularly you can find him and his lovely wife hiking around the local mountains, exploring the beaches, wandering around the rain forests, and recently on Iceland, in search of its interesting scenes. Robby Allen strives to translate these positive experiences into limited edition fine art prints and share with others, the small amount of the wonder he has seen.
More Recently in October of 2015 The International Photography Awards received 17,836 of submissions from over 153 countries, and is pleased to declare that Robby Allen was awarded Honorable Mention in Fine Art - Landscape for the winning entry Ring Road. The titles of the individual pieces were: Æsir, Double Rainbow, Goðafoss, Gullfoss, and Tranquil. They all can be found on my portfolio.
