Nudes nominee

I have been working on a series of images to show the lines and expressions of the male nude, with the only prop being a red ring. Models range from athletes, dancers to construction workers. In this image, the model is a boxer. I wanted his body to be poised ready for the opponent. And the facial expressions to be focused on the opponent so that he appeared to be menacing and threatening.

My passion has aways been photography, but not my chosen career. I enjoyed working with colour and B&W film, processing and printing my images in my darkroom. I have had works displayed at several galleries. Most recent are the galleries close to home. Some have been selected for exhibits and some have been chosen for awards. My main focus is landscape, travel and people, especially the nude male figure. The switch to digit has been a challenge that I have accepted and appreciate.
