Automobile Wrecking Yards of North America (Series)
DESCRIPTION
I went on a 11,000 mile road trip across North America in Fall of 2014. I took out the passenger seat of my car and converted it into a bed with a small mattress. I try to be a minimalist as well as save money. One of the many places I documented on my trip were the countless amount of old junkyards across North America. These junkyards remind of how older generations have been forgotten just like the countless old vehicles abandoned on the side of the road. There are many elderly people in retirement homes from these generations who get no visits from their family. I wish we didn't forget about them. They are truly gems and should not be forgotten for all their contributions to our society. This collection is dedicated to my grandparents: Henry and Evelyn. Thank you for your love and support.
