I've seen many things on my trips but this 'Bull Jumping Ceremony' done by the Hamar tribe was one of the most impressive ones.. The ceremony takes a day and is for a boy that will become a man. The unmarried women jump, sing and dance and challenge men to whip them with a stick. This will leave very big scars on their backs. After this, a coffee ceremony and drinking home brewed beer the 'man' to be has to do some stick ritual. Two goats are being offered for this (in front of my nose..). Then the men line up 15 bulls and the guy has to run over them at least 4 times, naked. If he does this without falling he can pick his own bride.
