Travel nominee

This image was made when I visited Havana, Cuba in June, 2015. It was a time of fewer tourists than other times. I captured this image with only Cubans, no tourists, and items, such as the cars, from the 60's. And the special addition of the woman in the red dress crossing the street for more interest. in the background is the Capitolio.

My passion has aways been photography, but not my chosen career. I enjoyed working with colour and B&W film, processing and printing my images in my darkroom. I have had works displayed at several galleries. Most recent are the galleries close to home. Some have been selected for exhibits and some have been chosen for awards. My main focus is landscape, travel and people, especially the nude male figure. The switch to digit has been a challenge that I have accepted and appreciate.
