REFLECTION (Series)
DESCRIPTION
This is how I looked at the buildings in Sydney (Australia) and how I wanted to shown them.
All of the photographs were freehand taken.
My intention is to emphasize the details, the fragments of one reality to give to see each and everyone’s own "full picture".
A reflection of light, patterns, shapes, textures, sometimes minimalism : all of that contributes to create a certain impact and stimulate the exchange.
Where is this fragment from? What is this puzzle piece? Is this reality? Is it my reality?
The subject, moreover « insignificant » takes us on unexpected paths!
None of these photographies is hardly reworked, there is little post-photographic treatment applied.
I call my work "mindfulness photography".
AUTHOR
I am a self-educated photographer and practiced analog photography back in the 80’s. Mainly B&W.
I then came to digital photography. I also work on other photography related projects.
I have worked some portrait & landscape in the past but I am currently more focused on abstract photography.
I am curious about Arts, Cinema, music, food & wine and writing.
I have a master degree in Philosophy & Communication and specialized in Cinema and Audiovisual Arts.
No awards as such but a picture selected to be shown on the screen of Saatchi Gallery in London.
