Digiclassicism (Series)
DESCRIPTION
I started this project inspired by paintings of the Northern Renaissance. Particularly by works of Early Netherlandish Masters such as Jan van Eyck, Rogier van der Weyden, Hans Holbein and Albrecht Dürer.
The idea was to fill digital images with aesthetics of those masterpieces. I create characters mostly of items from Ikea. The lighting is also a lamp from Ikea.
When my model come I spontaneously decide how it should be done.
Actually all this images are the result of improvisation.

BIO:
Born in 1974 in Smolensk, Russia. Live in Moscow. Since 2004 I`ve worked as commercial and editorial photographer. Cooperated with leading advertising agencies and magazines. Also participated in several contemporary art projects as well as been exhibited in art galleries. Now focusing on conceptual fine art photography.
