Over time, when somebody goes through serious changes, he invariably experiences some transformation. Usually this transformation comes rather from tragic and frightening circumstances, than from happiness.
In a condition of constant pain, when you lose someone close, in hopelessness and fear, devastation and impotence, a person changes both mentally and physically.
One may call it “depression”. For another, it's a process of going through the hard experience of life. Through this period, people around you might not see your phisical transformation, but you will always feel it: heaviness in your shoulders and back, weight in your head, tightness throughtout your body. Your sight and posture are changing, the stone in your stomach making your gait harder. You feel yourself ugly and clumsy. During your personal tragedy, the form of your physical and mental 'body' is transforming.
Transformation is painful, and can continue over long periods. But it is a mandatory stage of human evolution. Through it we become wiser, stronger, more finely tempered.
