Conceptual nominee

I let myself be inspired by those daily expressions in our discourse that enrich each language with images. The figurative language may seem obvious, but restaged, its absurd and magic dimension is revealed. Autobiographical interpretation through self-portraiture playful and surreal questioning of everyday expressions characterize this body of work. The superposition of photographed elements echoes multiple degrees of interpretations and let cre mysterious images The photographer's vision is not unique. The viewer is invited to translate the image in his or her own language

Bio //Margherita Crocco was born in Milano and was raised between her homeland Italy and Switzerland. As soon as she could, she packed her bags and began discovering the world. On the way she picked up a master’s degree in anthropology in Paris and a certificate of photography from the ICP in NYC. She works mainly on personal projects using photography and collages. She ‘s now based in Zürich.
