Conceptual nominee

For this project I was inspired by the Dutch painters and
textile arts from the late Renaissance.
This project started to catch my interest by investing the
very detailed craft and labor to create
art, architecture and textures.
The late Renaissance is characterized by the increasing
welfare in west Europe and the Americas.

Alice de Kruijs is a freelance fine art photographer based in Arnhem, The Netherlands
Her focus is portraiture but she is also experienced in travel and urban photography.
She works conceptual, telling a story that is her passion. Usually by showing a different perspective on daily life struggles and issues.
