Death Valley is a complex and beautiful contrast of light texture shape and tone. These images almost appear to be illuminated much the way the human form is illuminated in soft morning light. For these Death Valley landscapes I was able to utlilize the overcast clouds against the natural texture of the landscape to capture a soft illumination of light across the dunes.

Jack Curran is a landscape photographer based in St. Louis, Missouri. Jack has developed a deep and connected passion for the natural world and expresses this relationship through his genuine love of Black and White photography.
