Fine Art nominee

Carlos is an artist based in Zurich who works with wood. He is also my uncle. We did not have much contact when I was younger.
After I grew up and startet taking pictures, we met at one of his exhibitions. I wanted to do a portrait of him to get to know him better.
My wish was to show his characteristic face with a connection to his passion and profession, his art. It's my interpretation of how he looks after a day in his atelier.

I was born and raised in Zurich. After finishing school, I worked in the fields of publishing and in the advertising industry. I started my career working as a freelance photographer and filmmaker for international clients, publishing houses and advertising agencies. I'm also realizing lots of personal work in the fields of fashion, portrait and film. I am interested in the multimedia mix of photography and cinematography with primary focus on fashion and portraiture.
