Equivalents is a series of photographs i started as a student. its named after the first photo in the series wich was created quite by accident by seeing both objects side by side. until that moment i was working outside the studio but felt somewhat limited. by taking my printed photos into the studio i was suddenly free to see in a new way. josef stieglitz has a series of cloud photographs named Equivalents wich is supposed to see the abstract and transcendental in photography. as an artist working in postmodern times i cannot totally identify yest cannot totally reject that notion . so caught in between i make different "sculpture" and shoot them again playing with that feeling.
