When the environment is dark because of the weather or because of the color of the elements (here volcanic), the challenge is particularly high but exciting for that reason because we have to focus on what really matters and on what can make a photo possible.
These images take advantage of the narrow strip of the bright sky that allows the peaks being visible.
They are a part of a Series called "Low" from the highlands of Iceland. The aim was to work on the light from the black and with a limited use of color.
