December butterflies (Single)
DESCRIPTION
The hydrangea has become my muse this winter being of such ethereal, fragile beauty and at the same time withstanding the most adverse weather. Due to an operation I wasn't able to move around a lot, so loved exploring different ways of capturing the gorgeous dried flowerheads with my lensbaby. I adore natural light and waited until it was just soft and emphasized the pastel, faded colours. With the lens I isolated just one flower, my butterfly being followed by a busy, fluttering bunch of pals. With my work I want to draw people into the natural world which is full of wonders and beauty.
