DESCRIPTION
A clear summer's night was forecast, and the moon was to set at 10.30pm, so I headed to the ancient burial chamber of Pentre Ifan for some Milky Way images. After a test shot, I noticed that Pentre Ifan was being silhouetted by some light pollution in the distance, so my original idea of painting it in light was dismissed. Not long into the session I noticed a few shooting stars in the sky, and very shortly afterwards I was treated to one directly in the middle of the Milky Way. I couldn't have asked for more.
