Jaime Travezán (Peru) began his career as a photojournalist in his native country before relocating to London in 1985, where he shifted his focus to fashion and portraiture. His work has been featured internationally in magazines such as i-D, Elle, and Vogue, as well as in newspapers including The Guardian, El País, and The Huffington Post.
In 1999, Travezán briefly returned to photojournalism to cover the Kosovo War. In the years that followed, his practice gradually transitioned toward documentary photography and ultimately into fine art, often developed in close collaboration with art director David Tortora across a wide range of projects.
His photography has been recognised with multiple awards, including:
-First Place at the 2025 International Photography Awards (IPA), Fashion Advertising
-Gold Medal at the 2025 Le Prix de la Photographie de Paris (PX3), Fashion Advertising
-Gold Medal at the 2023 Le Prix de la Photographie de Paris (PX3), Advertising
