From rural Mafia to a multinational of crime. This is a Journey through places and symbols of the 'Ndrangheta
The Calabrian mafia is now widely recognized as one of the most powerful criminal organization of the world. It has been passed twenty years since the 'Ndrangheta, from rural mafia , has become an international holding of crime, but the organization continues to retain elements that distinguish itself from other mafias of southern Italy, these elements of distinction constitute in some cases its own strength.
Through places, suggestions and symbols this report attempts to retrace the anthropological and historical evolution of the phenomenon of mafia. In addition, this report does not give up to investigate the ways in which the 'Ndrangheta culture” is still revealed in specific social contexts and how, in some cases, it can become almost a distinguishing mark .All these items are observed by an eye that has investigated and studied in depth this context , an eye that tries to observe and document the phenomenon with artistic sensibility and ,above all, without any prejudice or satisfaction.
