Tim Andrews (Series)
DESCRIPTION
This series of images were my contrition to Tim Andrew’s remarkable project ‘Over the Hill’. They were shot at dusk on the Cockle Beds to the East of Brighton. The intention was to extend my work about the sea into a representation of Tim’s condition (Parkinson’s Disease) and his battle with it. Having recently lost my Father we talked about death in a positive way and the need to make the most of the now, the everyday.
AUTHOR
I have a respect and passion for the integrity of the traditional black and white photographic image and use digital technology to deepen its qualities.
As a practitioner I have developed a broad body of work across a range of genres including Fine Art, Landscape and Portrait Photography. I have also produced more experimental work exploring issues of identity, sexuality mortality and the body.
After a brief period of hiatus due to family revetment I have returned to my practice
