Open Theme nominee

Skin Deep is a project about what goes on beneath the skin of what we as human beings can see. The images within this project are photographed in Ultraviolet which is outside of the narrow spectrum of light we can perceive. Using a modified digital SLR camera, we can see the story that exists on human skin, the melanin deposits from sunlight exposure and scars (both fresh and long-faded).
