The credit goes to my incredibly beautiful and brave sitter, my wife. Without a hint of self consciousness, she allowed me to photograph the birth in its entirety.

Buki Koshoni is a Lagos born, London based Visual Artist, producing work in select media, Photography, Film & Design. His subjects are a rich mix of genders, sexualities and ethnicities. His themes interrogate identity, sexuality and bodily aesthetics, taking a compelling and intimate approach to his subjects, that results in a unique exploration of human culture & condition.

After honing his craft at St Martins, London, Koshoni has released a number of books celebrating the art of portraiture. In addition to directing music videos for EMI and Sony Records, his work has toured both nationally and internationally, with the National Portrait Gallery & GOSEE Berlin.
