Photojournalism nominee

Every year, on the first weekend in July, a festival called Rapa das Bestas takes place in Galicia, region of Spain.The villagers of Sabucedo round up hundreds of wild horses to trim their manes and tails. The event is very contoversial and brutal.

I graduated from the Cracow School of Art and the State Higher School of Film, Television and Theatre in Lodz, where I received the title of Master of Photography. I am laureate of Grand Press Photo ( 3X ) , BZ WBK Press Photo ( 7X ) , Leica Street Photo, International B & W Photography Contest Monochrome Awards ( 3X ) , the International Photography Awards ( 7X ) , National Geographic Poland ( 2X ) , SGL Local Press ( 3X ) ,journalist of Malopolska , National Geographic Traveler Photo Contest FEP European Professional Photographer of the Year (2X). I am also a finalist of competitions like: Kuwait Grand Photography Contest (2X), Event Photography Awards (2X), Press Photo of the Year ( 2X ) Erazm Ciolek prize organized by the Association of Polish Journalists . I work for Tygodnik Podhalański and for Getty Images Poland. I am also a lecturer of the press photography at the Cracow School of Art.
