Portrait nominee

Transformation is the universal narrative of this new series titled, KEN. The images illustrate the symbolic gesture of “holding on” through the physical act of male/female roleplaying. The real contextuality of the series lies in its ability to provoke questions about the emotional baggage we all carry. Yet to deeply appreciate what nourished, challenged and inspired us in our former (baggage) relationships is an act of forgiveness, giving us the fluidity and freedom to expand into our current identity.
