The great migration happening in the Serengeti is one of the greatest wildlife shows on earth. Key players are the wildebeest, around 1.5 million of them following the rains in a race for life. The yearly cycle begins with half a million calves that are born and in as little as 10 minutes they are off and walking beacuse territorial predators like lions and cheetahs are always close and depend on them in their own cycle of surviving.
A picture especially on the edge of a photographic painting and a pictorial photograph to me has the power of simplifying the indescribable happening on this World Heritage Site and magically sacred place.
