This winter I noticed a number of symbols, carved in the surface of the frozen pond in my garden.
Is nature trying to communicate with us, humans?
If so, will we be able to decipher the code and then what will we do?
If not, who or what made these symbols?
To me they look like Phoenician inscriptions.
Most symbols have complex geometric shapes, but I can clearly distinguish some letters of the Phoenician alphabet.
Or is my imagination running wild and are they just one of many nature's little wonders?

Now the ice has melted and the symbols are gone.
I can't wait till next winter!
