DESCRIPTION

AUTHOR
My name is Mary Haber and I have a degree in graphic arts/photography. I had worked for a major telecommunication corporation in their graphic arts department during my early career. After leaving the corporate art field to become a stay-at-home mom, I did freelance graphic work, but found that photography was the best outlet for showcasing my talents. I create unique digital art prints using my large collection of photographs as my main source for ideas. I live at the Jersey Shore which is a great place for artistic inspiration and much of my work is derived from this area. I also travel quite frequently and I use this time to take thousands of photos to keep on file to use for future pieces. My style is geared towards soft, serene views of everyday surroundings and showing them in a 'different light'. A great portion of my work involves nature in its many forms large and small; the obvious, and not so readily seen. Several examples of my work have been displayed at numerous exhibitions at the 1650 Gallery located in L.A. Calif. (2015 & 2016). 3 of my photos were finalists for TZIPAC's 3rd Annual Zebra Awards (2015).
