Architecture nominee

Modern architecture in Groningen (The Netherlands) on a slightly misty winter evening. With this series I tried to show the contrast between the lines of nature and the lines made by men. At the same time I wanted to ask the question how these 'two designs' will evolve in the future. Will we destroy nature with our ever-stronger growing machines? Or will nature take over once more in her cruel ways? Or maybe, will we be able to find a balance?

Amateur photographer from the Netherlands with a passion for nature and architecture. Nature offers me an escape from the busy city and the often fake and contradictory ways of society. I have a predilection for minimal photography, and in my work I mostly try to capture the perfection, serenity, silence and/or profundity in a landscape.
